In compliance with current safety regulations, you are required to wear a facemask covering your mouth and nose in the platform area, in the station forecourt and during your entire ride up and down the mountain on the SchafbergBahn cog railway. At this time, we are filling 70 of the 105 available seats on the train. However, please note that on the SchafbergBahn cog railway, as on other forms of public transportation, standard social distancing rules may not necessarily be enforced. From 30 May - 11 October, the SchafbergBahn cog railway brings you up to the Schafbergspitze.
From 12 October - 01 November, the SchafbergBahn cog railway will only run as far as the Schafbergalm station (due to construction work)

Dogs may travel aboard for a surcharge but must be fitted with a muzzle and restrained on a leash. You can purchase a muzzle at the ticket counters in St. Wolfgang Markt, St. Wolfgang SchafbergBahn and in St. Gilgen.
Strollers can not be transported, but you can park them at the valley station.
Prices 2019/20 are valid from 15 November 2019 to 14 November 2020.
